WE LOVE eggnog here at the Tough Luck Lounge but all that heating and mixing and whipping isn’t really practical when you’re running a bar or hosting a party for, say, everyone you’ve ever said “Hello” to. Eggnog is simply eggs, milk, sugar, spices and vanilla. Whipped to a froth and topped with whipped cream. Now, one secret of a great eggnog is to whip RAW egg whites and fold them into the mix. Ummm, I’m sorry – I cannot in all good conscience advocate using raw eggs au naturel. So get thee to the store, buy a carton or two, spike it with whiskey, bourbon, or rum and top with your favorite whipped cream.
